Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio

The Deputies Superintendence of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce-SIC has international cooperation at three levels: first, bilateral cooperation with other related governmental authorities from abroad; second, multilateral cooperation with international organizations and, third, regional cooperation.

Bilateral cooperation

Regarding cooperation with other authorities, the SIC has signed several Memorandums of Understanding-MOU with other governmental authorities and with these authorities consultations take place under said instruments. Whenever we identify important issues of interest with foreign authorities that can improve our investigation abilities and our decision making processes we duly notify said authorities following the procedure set forth in the MOU.
