The “Third International Conference on Personal Data Protection” will be held in Medellín, Colombia. Medellín is the capital of the Antioquia Department, and is the second most important city of the country. It is located between the center of Colombia and the Pacific and Caribbean regions, and its economy is primarily based on trade, housing construction and textile activities.

The Botanical Garden of Medellín represents a living museum. It has a wide collection of plants and it is an entity that looks for the generation, dissemination and application of scientific knowledge on the ambient diversity of Antioquia and the country, contributing to its assessment, conservation, restoration and management. The participants of the event that will arrive by air will land at the INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT JOSÉ MARÍA CÓRDOVA, which is located in Río Negro town, 29 km (18 miles) away from the center of Medellín (about 40 minutes). Buses, minibuses and taxis connect the airport with different parts of the metropolitan area of Medellín. They are equipped with taximeters that will indicate the price to pay. The approximate cost for airport / Medellín downtown transfers is $ 60,000 Colombian pesos (US$ 30, approximately).
