Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in its role as the National Authority   for Industrial Property, published the list of nominees for the '2021 Colombian National Inventor Award' which, during this edition, received more than 130 project applications in the different categories of the contest, evidencing the level of inventiveness of Colombians throughout the national territory.

Through this call, the SIC intended to stimulate the investigative and creative spirit of Colombians, awakening, not only the interest in scientific knowledge and innovation, but also, the advantages that industrial property protection has, when carrying out investigative and innovative activities.

During this year’s contest, the nominees stood out for presenting projects based on renewable energy, eco-environmental and sustainable proposals, production of drinking water, among others.
